Pop-up dinner event at the Culture House in Kendall Square Cambridge. it’s summer, enjoy amazing Zimbabwean cuisine cooked by Tatenda, immigrant from Zimbabwe. Rachel and Meghan from the Freedom through Art Collective, a non-profit that promotes art created by incarcerated artists, will invite us into conversation about justice and redemption. Limited to thirty guests. Your seat at this event is not guaranteed until you receive a final confirmation email.

FAT COOKS

Minced curry filled appetizer

SADZA

A flavorful side dish made with cornmeal (Gluten free)

NYAMA YEHUKU

A traditional chicken stew slow cooked with herbs and spices that offer it a unique flavor. Vegetarian alternative with meatless mince/beefless meat is available upon request.

MURIVO NEHOHWA (VEGAN)

Spinach and mushrooms with flavors by the herbs it is cooked with. (Vegan)

QUEEN CAKE WITH ICE CREAM

Dessert is not commonly expected, but life in modern Zimbabwe includes ice cream!
